Mahmood Ebraheem Al Mahmood is the Chairman of ADS Securities, an Abu Dhabi-based brokerage and trade services provider.
He is also the CEO of the parent company of ADS Securities, ADS Holding, a private company focused on the sustainable long-term development of commodity-based industries.
As Chairman, he heads ADS Securities’ efforts to bring significant new trading opportunities to participants in the global and regional forex, precious metals, commodities, futures and options markets. As CEO of ADS Holding, he leads the company’s mission to deliver efficient, sustainable, value-added and integrated commodities solutions to the global market.
Al Mahmood combines a penchant for innovation with a passion for discovering fast-growing financial markets. Before founding ADS Securities, he spearheaded the internal alternative investment team at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIA). He has managed assets in diverse markets including North America, Europe, and the GCC.
Mr.Al Mahmood holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, as well as a Masters in International Business, from Webster University, Geneva.
Philippe Ghanem was one of the key driving forces behind the conception and creation of ADS Securities. He has a wealth of experience in both establishing and running successful entrepreneurial ventures in the financial services sector.
Prior to joining ADS Securities, Philippe was the Founder, Director and Chairman of Squared Financial Services Ltd, a fully-fledged financial brokerage firm based in Dublin, Ireland. He led the creation and development of Squared Financial as a multi-asset class e-trading platform.
Philippe brings to his current role as Vice-Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of ADS Securities deep expertise in building sophisticated electronic trading platforms as well as strong contacts across international markets. He has extensive knowledge of banking and financial instruments such as bonds, equities, mutual funds, commodities, derivatives, and cash and treasury management. He also has experience in trading a wide range of financial instruments as well as core asset and fund management.
Philippe is a regular contributor to international and business media including CNBC, Forbes, Reuters as well as specialist trade publications.
He received a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Administration from the International University of Geneva in 2002.
Philippe is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
